Bráulio Bessa

Vendo os “versos se bulir” desde muito cedo, aos 14 anos o menino de Alto Santo, interior do Ceará, rabiscava nos cadernos da escola seus primeiros versos. Tendo como principal fonte de inspiração a poesia de Patativa do Assaré, Bráulio Bessa também versava à sua maneira dos afetos e da vida no sertão.

Em 2012 com a criação de uma página na internet, sua poesia alçou voos distantes e tal como a ave canora patativa, seu cantar encantou todo o Brasil.

Ultrapassando a marca de 100 milhões de visualizações em seus vídeos, o poeta também é recepcionado semanalmente pelas famílias brasileiras no programa de TV Encontro com Fátima Bernardes, do qual é Consultor de Cultura Nordestina e apresenta sob um olhar poético temas diversos.

Disseminando sua poesia aos quatro cantos, Bráulio é considerado um dos maiores ativistas da cultura nordestina no mundo.

Seeing the "verses buzz" from very early, at the age of 14 the boy from Alto Santo, in the interior of Ceara, scribbled in the school notebooks his first verses. Having as a source of inspiration the poetry of Patativa do Assaré, Braulio Bessa also dealt in his own way with affections and life in the hinterland.

Overcoming the mark of 100 million views in his videos, the poet is also welcomed weekly by Brazilian families in the TV program Encontro com Fátima Bernardes, of which he is a Northeastern Culture Consultant and presents a diverse theme under a poetic eye.

Spreading his poetry to the four corners, Braulio is considered one of the greatest activists of northeastern culture in the world.
